Puke Rainbows

I double my dose of this mood stabilizer in three days. Finally, something is working.  I’m much improved from 2 weeks ago.

But, I’d better puke rainbows 2 weeks from now.

    1. Of course I don’t mind sharing with you any info.

I’m taking 150 mg of Bupropion XL (once daily) and 50 mg (will change to 100 mg tomorrow) of Lamotrigine (once daily).
I’m so scared of the mood stabilizer increase tomorrow. I’ve been through very weird ups and downs and crazy dreams and vague behavior changes in the past 2 weeks (b/c of starting new meds and getting off old ones). Dang, I feel sorry for junkies.

      1. Oh yes! That’s very common with the Lamictal. When I was first titrating up….I would have a few days where I felt great and then spent 3 or 4 days in bed deep in depression again. Once I hit 150mg things started to level out! And the dreams are just surreal…..I wish you lots of luck!

      2. Hello “moore.” 🙂 Today, day 2, is so productive. The tummy upset is almost nothing. I have not much appetite and have lost 3 lbs (yay!). I did the SAME thing when I first started the Lamotrigine. I had a coupe of days where I was kinda anxious (I think I was coming off the other antidepressant I’d been on – withdrawals), then felt fairly good for two days. Then was depressed for a couple of days. Now, I’m feeling pretty “normal.” Thank you for sharing your experience. Makes me feel better. XO
